To mark the occasion of ‘International Diabetes Educator’s Day, 5th September’ Diabetes Awareness & You (DAY) and BADAS (Bangladesh Diabetic Samiti) jointly organises the DAYDEIC (DAY Diabetes Educators International Conference) SINCE 2016, to update the healthcare professionals on recent advances of diabetes management.

2025 edition of 10th DAYDEIC is going to be held on 7th September, 2025 at Hotel Hindustan International, Kolkata.  This year the conference will be on a hybrid mode. Prof. Apurba Kumar Mukherjee, President of DAY and Prof. A.K. Azad Khan, National Professor & President of BADAS would be overseeing the conference as Patrons, Dr. Sujoy Majumdar, Dr. Mary D’Cruz and Dr. Soumik Goswami, Vice Presidents of DAY, Mr. Indrajit Majumder, Secretary of DAY, Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Assistant Secretary of DAY, will be there as Advisors, Ms. Sheryl Salis and Ms. Shubhda Bhanot, both Executive Member of DAY, are the joint Organising Chairman;  Ms. Kajal Hansda, Assistant Secretary of DAY, Dr. Anuradha Mukherjee, Life Member of DAY, Mr. Soumyendu Ghosh & Dr. Aritra Khan, are the Joint Organising Secretaries of the 10th DAYDEIC, respectively. Prof. A.K. Azad Khan, President of BADAS and Ex Chair, South East Asian Region, International Diabetes Federation (IDF) shall be the Chief Guest. The hall will be named after Dr. J.P. Bose. There will be national & international speakers and an array of exciting topics, workshops etc. We would like to cordially invite you to attend this annual academic feast and enhance your “socio-diabetological” experience with likeminded peers and experts and bring the conference to life.

The organising team is working tirelessly on the scientific agenda of the conference and the FINAL BROCHURE of 10th DAYDEIC will be uploaded soon.

This year, we are going to publish the next editions of ‘Periodical Update for Diabetes Educators, 2025’ and ‘Periodical Update for Dietitians, 2025’ at 10th DAYDEIC.
