Education programs for paramedics
The para-medical personnel play an irreplaceable role in patient care. As part of our special knowledge enhancement initiatives, we focus on educating paraprofessionals consisting of, but not limited to, dieticians, pharmacists, psychologists, researchers to provide a holistic approach to the prevention and treatment of diabetes. The initiative consists of a quarterly educational program of a varied range of diabetes related issues. The programs are interactive with expertise from the specific field with a focus to develop skills along with the theoretical background.
Education programs for common man
Going hand in hand with the screening camps, DAY also conducts stand alone educational programs for one and all. From addressing groups of ten to hundreds, we encourage discussions to burst some of the common myths in the society. The initiative consists of around two hour interactive session consisting of presentations, videos, graphics, worksheets, games and other types of interactions. Programs conducted in the past include alumni programs, corporate annual day programs, club meetings and other social gatherings.
